It started as a one-story tan cottage behind an overgrown yard. We framed a new second floor and dormer, re-clad the whole house in board-and-batten, and added a full-width metal-roof porch.

New walk, new beds, new everything the street sees — and a family that moved into what is, for all practical purposes, a new home.
